1.
2. Although
3. What happened to First Amendment Rights? Christians do not have those when demonstrating or applying their faith.
4. Are we ready for White Supremacists being given the right to be officers of the Black Law Student Association for fear that any other action would constitute discrimination? It is not possible to discriminate against “White people” in
5. Why are we not highlighting the outstanding contributions to community and society by faith-based clubs across
6. If people of faith are tolerant of clubs that adhere to beliefs that are contrary to their convictions, why is the adverse not true? It’s just not right to assume that the tolerance expected/demanded by the ACLU, NAACP, GLAAD and other similar groups be applied to a group of people that has “held down” and “persecuted” others since the big bang.
7. Is it possible that the true discrimination in this case is against those who practice their faith in an increasingly secular society? No way (see answer to 6)
8. Have we become so politically correct that we no longer feel comfortable being biblically correct? Yes, the bible is an excellent work of fiction designed by it’s authors as a “road map” for people who are too weak to rely on their own efforts.
9. Should people be given second-class citizenship based on their beliefs? Only if they’re too weak to live without the “crutch” of Jesus’ sacrifice for them.
10. Are we on the verge of outlawing groups in
Call me crazy, but it seems that the most discriminated against are the Christians. There are many reasons why, and all of them stem from one issue. Leadership. When your leadership doesn’t stand up for you, when you can’t stand for yourself, you lose. “Their” leadership will ALWAYS stand up for them, RIGHT OR WRONG, and that’s why we always hear about “their” problems and issues. There is always a lawyer out there willing to highlight the injustices that have been wracked upon the “little guy”. All of these groups have centralized leadership. Christians do not. There are so many different sects and groups of Christians I can’t keep them straight. We’re too busy arguing over which version of the Bible is most accurate to handle anything else. Seethe story below to highlight this point:
"I was walking on the Golden Gate bridge one day when I saw a man about to jump. I called out to him in order to distract him and said 'Are you a Christian or a Jew?' He said 'Christian.' I said 'Me too! Protestant or Catholic?' He said 'Protestant.' I said 'Me too! What franchise?' He said 'Baptist.' I said 'Me too! Northern Baptist or Southern Baptist?' He said 'Northern Baptist.' I said 'Me too! Northern Conservative Baptist or Northern Reform Baptist?' He said 'Northern Conservative Baptist.' I said 'Me too! Northern Conservative Fundamentalist Baptist or Northern Conservative Reform Baptist?' He said 'Northern Conservative Fundamentalist Baptist.' I said 'Me too! Northern Conservative Fundamentalist Baptist Great Lakes Region or Northern Conservative Fundamentalist Baptist Eastern Region?' He said 'Northern Conservative Fundamentalist Baptist Great Lakes Region.' I said 'Me too! Northern Conservative Fundamentalist Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912 or Northern Conservative Fundamentalist Baptist Great Lakes Region of 1850?' He said 'Northern Conservative Fundamentalist Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912.'
I said 'Die heretic!' And I pushed him off the bridge!"
Christians in
Do you and your family pray for dinner when you go out to eat? Do you give counsel from the bible when asked by a non-believer? Or do we hide our faith inside of house and place of worship? If we don’t display our faith at all times regardless of whom might be offended, our faith is hidden from the world. Does that achieve His results? Are we living for Him? Is it because we’re ashamed, or afraid of what others might say?
When Christians as a whole can answer these questions (among other similar ones) with a loud and boisterous “I AM NOT ASHAMED”, we will progress towards keeping and utilizing the rights we’ve been given by our GOD-FEARING founding fathers. They all worshipped and praised openly! That’s why they all ended up coming here. Why shouldn’t we do the same for our families and future Christians?
No movie quotes to finish this time. Take time to answer these questions for yourself. I know I need to for myself and my family.
P.S. Let me know what you think about this post (or don’t), I’m starting to think I’m typing to hear my own thoughts. BOO!!!

So... you're not typing to hear your own thoughts? Coulda fooled me.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding!
This was actually very thought provoking. When you're done answering these for your family - please fill me in on the answers so I know what they are too. Ha ha ha!
Love you!
